Delphinium (New Millenium TM Series) These hybrid delphiniums were given to the Garden by their New Zealand breeder several years ago. They are advertised as compact plants, not needing staking, but in our Garden they need to be supported by a bamboo frame and watered carefully from below. They bloom gloriously in June, then are cut back severely to allow other summer annuals to shine. In early fall, they rebloom, although not as lushly as in June.
