Rosa [CITRUS SPLASH] = Jaczorba
Rosa [CITRUS SPLASH] = Jaczorba is a shrub rose with floribunda characteristics. Floribunda roses were developed by crossing hybrid teas with polyantha roses. They have the beauty and colour range of the hybrid tea roses, and the abundance of blooms of the polyantha roses.
R. [CITRUS SPLASH] = Jaczorba flowers have bright yellow and orange-red patches, streaks, and flecks. As the flowers mature, they change colour. R. [CITRUS SPLASH] = Jaczorba has a moderately fruity fragrance. Its leaves are glossy and dark green. It is repeat blooming and will bloom from late spring into fall.
R. [CITRUS SPLASH] = Jaczorba was bred by Dr. Keith W. Zary, head of hybridizing and research at Jackson and Perkins. He crossed an unnamed apricot orange floribunda variety with an unnamed striped red and white shrub rose.
R. [CITRUS SPLASH] = Jaczorba can be found in Bed 35E of the Black and Gold Garden.
