Common name: Voodoo lily, devil's tongue, elephant yam, konjac
Amorphophallus konjac is a perennial plant native to Asia found in the Sino-Himalayan Garden. It has purple flowers and emits a smell of rotten meat to attract pollinators. The corm is used in Japan and China to produce food products, some of which are reputed to have zero calories.
