Common name: Zozo, Japanese paper mulberry
Broussonetia kazinoki is a small tree native to Asia with spiky pink flowers followed by edible berries. It is used in paper production in Japan. Our trees are in Bed 120A at the north end of the Alma VanDusen Garden.
