Common name: Benjamin Britten
Rosa 'Benjamin Britten' is an English shrub rose bred by David Austin. Its deep red-pink, rosette-shaped blooms come in flushes from late spring to fall and have a fruity fragrance, with hints of wine and pear drops. David Austin’s English roses combine the flower forms and perfume of old roses with the colour range and repeat flowering habits of modern roses.
This medium sized shrub was named Benjamin Britten to commemorate the life of the popular English composer, conductor and performer. More information. The pictures were taken in the Fragrance Garden.
