Common name: Japanese meadow rue
Thalictrum rochebrunianum is a clump-forming perennial native to Japan. This tall, airy plant belonging to the family Ranunculaceae provides soft, delicate texture to a garden. T. rochebrunianum has lacy, maidenhair-fern-like foliage and dainty, lavender-pink flowers with yellow stamens. It is attractive to bees, butterflies, and other beneficial insects. It blooms from mid to late summer, and is relatively untroubled by pests and diseases.
