Common name: Chitalpa
x Chitalpa tashkentensis 'Pink Dawn' is an intergeneric hybrid of Catalpa bignonioides and Chilopsis linearis. It is a medium-sized deciduous tree with beautiful pale pink flowers in late summer. We have one large specimen planted in 1993 and several smaller ones in the Alma VanDusen Meadow.
