Common name: Trident maple, three-toothed maple


Acer buergerianum 'Miyasama' is a dwarf maple native to Asia, mainly used decoratively. The species is very popular for making bonsai. We have several specimens, mainly in the Sino-Himalayan Garden. It is named after German botanist Heinrich Buerger (Bürger). More about A. buergerianum.
