Common name: Dwarf Yunnan rhodo
Rhododendron intricatum is a dwarf rhododendron native to the subalpine areas of Yunnan and Sichuan. It has very tiny leaves. The flowers on our plant are pink, but most others in the species are blue or light purple. We have several plants listed in the Garden, but one large specimen is at the top of the Waterfall.
