Common name: Mexican feathergrass, finestem needlegrass, fineleaved nassella, Argentine needle-grass
Nassella tenuissima is a grass native from Texas, south to Chile and Argentina. It has very fine, green leaves in summer and turns brown in winter. Also known as Stipa tenuissima. It is found in the North American Cultivar ‘Nativar’ Collection by the Plaza.
