Rhododendron forrestii Repens Group is a small, creeping rhodo with bright red flowers growing along the edge of the Sino-Himalayan Garden in early spring. It is native to Asia and was first collected by plant explorer George Forrest. Our specimens came from the Grieg collection at Stanley Park.
It is a parent of R. 'Baden Baden' also found in this Garden.
