Nerine bowdenii is a flowering bulb noted for its late-summer, shocking pink, spidery flowers. It is not from Guernsey but originally was brought to England from South Africa by A. Cornish-Bowden, a land surveyor. The species is named after him. It is quite hardy in our garden.
