Common name: Eastern Himalayan rose
Rosa longicuspis grows over the stone arch at the entrance to the Meditation Garden. It is a vigorous rambler with huge sprays of single white flowers and shiny semi-evergreen foliage. It is fragrant. 'Longicuspis' means 'long and pointed', probably referring to the leaf shape.
