Common name: Montbretia 'Jenny Bloom', Crocosmia 'Blacro'
Crocosmia 'Jenny Bloom' has dark-orange buds which open to butterscotch-yellow flowers in mid-summer. It was hybridized in England by Alan Bloom and named for his daughter. The genus, however, is native to the southern African grasslands, which is why it is found in the South African section of the Southern Hemisphere Garden.
