Acer palmatum 'Otome zakura' is a slow-growing, semi-dwarf Japanese maple with bright pink leaves turning to green in the summer. It is found in the Meconopsis Dell. 'Otome' means 'maiden' or 'virgin'; 'zakura' (sakura) means 'cherry blossom'.
