Common Name: False solomon's seal
Maianthemum racemosum is a North American woodland native and can be found in Canada everywhere but Nunavit. It is closely related to Solomon's Seal (Polyganatum spp.). Maianthemum is from the Greek word for "May flower," the month when the flowers bloom. Racemosa is from the Latin word for 'bunch of grapes', referring to how the flowers hang from the stem.
