Common Name: Calla lily. arum lily
Zantedeschia aethiopica are from southern Africa. They are not lilies, but are members of the arum (Jack-in-the-pulpit). The genus is named after Giovanni Zantedeschi, an Italian botanist. 'Aethiopica' refers to all of Africa, not just Ethiopia. We have several cultivars in different parts of the garden; some are only seasonal, as they are quite tender
