Callicarpa bodinieri 'Profusion' is an unremarkable, tall, deciduous shrub, native to China. In early summer, it sports small yellow and purple flowers, which then turn into small purple and yellow berries. These berries then turn a darker purple in autumn. The clusters of small purple berries are spectacular. This cultivar is self-fertile so does not need additional plants to set fruit, unlike other members of the genus.
