Astrantia major subsp. involucrata 'Shaggy' is a summer-flowering herbaceous perennial with blooms that look like exploding stars. It makes an excellent cut or dried flower. The cultivar is also called 'Marjorie Fish'. Our single specimen is at the south end of the Perennial Border.
