Camellia sasanqua 'Setsugekka'
Camellia sasanqua 'Setsugekka' starts blooming in late fall. Its semi-double flowers are white, and the stamens are gold. It is reputed to be the most popular camellia grown in New Zealand. It originated in Japan in the mid-19th century, and 'Setsugekka' means 'a flower white as snow reflected by the moon.'
