"Meconopsis x sheldonii 'Lingholm' is a registered cultivar of Meconopsis x sheldonii" (quote from S. Sivertz). It is a fertile hybrid producing bright blue flowers on stems up to 1 metre tall (3 feet). It is a tetraploid (chromosome numbers have doubled). It can produce viable seeds as well as spreading by offsets.
Meconopsis x sheldonii 'Lingholm' can be found in Bed 121C in the Meconopsis Dell. In June, 2024, the plants were only about thirty centimetres tall, and had just begun to flower.
